Hi, My name is Yolli

I've been creating art ever since I could pick up a pencil

I adore bright, bold colours. I’ve never met an art gallery I didn’t like, and travelling with my partner is what feeds my soul. 

I've sold abstract, psychedelic and portrait paintings, I’ve given over 50 hand-poked tattoos to people, painted a huge mural in a nightclub and designed art for wine, gin and rum labels.

My 'day job' is in the travel industry, which has enabled me to travel the world and given me a job that I love. But I’ve always been a little conflicted knowing that I’m also obsessed with making art.

In the height of covid, I opened my own online store to sell my art,  but I could never quite figure out my niche, what did I want to focus on? What would resonate with people? 

Ultimately I didn’t quite get it right. I burnt out quickly and had to take a major break from creating anything at all.

I’ve finally started creating again, and this time something clicked into place…

Why not combine my two favourite things?!

Travel has brought me some of the most magical experiences of my life, a deep appreciation for some of the smaller things in life (there’s nothing better than coming home and being able to drink the tap water).

I’d already been drawing my travels, every time I went overseas I’d bring paper and pencils, and in the more recent years, my iPad. Some of my favourite illustrations have come from my travels. 

So here I am, ready to bring you on all my travel adventures with me and illustrate them for you! 

My partner also happens to take spectacular photos, so many of my prints are collaborations with her, using her beautiful images as references.  

I hope my illustrations can transport you back to some of your best travel experiences, and inspire you to travel to places you’ve never been before.
